In 2024, we launched our in-house Home Services Drain Cleaning Academy. This is a paid training program designed to develop skilled drain service technicians from the ground up.

  • A direct path into a full-time role.

Applicants go through a selection and interview process before the program. Those accepted receive a structured start in the plumbing and drain service industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Use cable machines, hydro jetters, and specialized equipment to clear drains.
  • Identify and remove blockages in both residential and commercial plumbing systems.
  • Perform sewer camera inspections and record detailed findings.
  • Communicate clearly with customers and explain recommended next steps.
  • Accurately complete service tickets, job notes, and required paperwork.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and service vehicles clean, maintained, and job-ready while following safety protocols.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Hold a valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record.
  • Dependable and hard-working with a willingness to learn technical skills on the job.
  • Able to work independently in the field and troubleshoot issues as they come up.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
  • Prior experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, construction, or maintenance is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Comfortable using tools and equipment in a hands-on, physical work environment.
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and a focus on doing the job right the first time.
